Open-pit mine with excavators working across terraced benches
Mine EPC+M+O · Since 1997

A mine EPC+M+O company that starts with the ore.

A mine project is a chain of decisions. The ore test shapes the flowsheet. The flowsheet shapes the equipment list. The equipment shapes the civil work, installation plan and operating model. Break that chain and risk slips into the gaps. Xinhai Mining is a mine EPC+M+O company that keeps it connected—from early testwork and engineering to equipment supply, construction, management and production operations.

One project. One connected technical thread.

Your project may begin with drill core and a preliminary capacity target. Or you may already have a plant that isn't giving you the recovery, throughput or stability you expected. Either way, the first job is the same: establish what is known, what is missing and which decision comes next.

Xinhai's model joins the disciplines that carry a mine from evidence to operation. Engineers can connect ore characteristics with the process route, plant layout, equipment configuration, site works and commissioning requirements. Procurement and manufacturing teams work from that design basis. Site teams turn it into a working facility. Where the brief calls for it, management and operating services continue after handover.

That continuity matters. A design choice that looks neat on paper can create trouble in maintenance, installation or control. Keeping those conversations close helps your team challenge assumptions before they become expensive site problems.

  • Engineering: mineral testwork, studies and mine, processing plant or TSF design
  • Procurement: equipment manufacturing, sourcing, inspection, packing and shipping
  • Construction: civil works, installation, commissioning and handover
  • Management: coordination across design, procurement, construction and commissioning
  • Operation: mine, processing plant and tailings operation support

Start with the ore. Not the equipment list.

Xinhai Mining operates a CNAS-accredited laboratory and an industrial-scale pilot test base. The research workflow can move from sample analysis and exploratory testing through verification, flowsheet testing and pilot work.

The aim isn't to produce a report that sits on a shelf. Testwork should answer practical design questions: What liberation size is needed? Which separation route deserves further work? What equipment duties follow from the selected flowsheet? Which assumptions need pilot-scale verification? Those answers give owners and engineering teams a firmer basis for scope, layout, procurement and investment decisions.

Xinhai's 2026 research brochure states that the group completes approximately 200 test studies each year and has experience across more than 70 ore types. Those figures describe reach. Your sample still decides your route.

Engineering that stays close to execution.

A flowsheet is only one part of a buildable mine. Processing, mining, tailings, civil, structural, electrical, water, automation and cost work all push on one another. Site conditions do too.

Xinhai's design scope covers studies and detailed engineering for mining, mineral processing plants and tailings storage facilities. Depending on the project stage, deliverables may include feasibility work, basic engineering, detailed drawings, equipment and material lists, layouts, utility requirements and construction information.

For an owner, the useful question isn't whether an engineering team can produce more drawings. It is whether the drawings resolve interfaces. Can the selected equipment be installed? Does the layout leave room to operate and maintain it? Are long-lead items identified before the schedule tightens? Can procurement compare like with like? Good engineering makes the next decision clearer.

Equipment configured around the process.

Once the process duty is defined, the equipment package can be built around it. Xinhai's manufacturing capability covers crushing and screening, grinding and classification, flotation, gravity and magnetic separation, gold processing, thickening, dewatering, material handling, pumps, valves and automation.

The group's intelligent equipment manufacturing base covers approximately 110,000 m². Published company material describes more than 1,000 types of main and auxiliary equipment for mining, processing and metallurgical projects below 50,000 t/d. Large-scale manufacturing capability includes φ7 m-class ball mills, flotation cells up to 320 m³, leaching tanks up to φ20 m × 20 m and thickeners up to φ100 m.

Big numbers aren't a selection method. Your ore, duty, operating environment and maintenance plan come first. The value of integrated manufacturing is the ability to carry those requirements from engineering into specifications, fabrication, assembly, inspection and shipment.

Experience across project stages and mineral systems.

Since its founding in 1997, Xinhai Mining reports serving more than 2,500 mines and completing more than 600 Mine EPC+M+O projects across more than 100 countries and regions. Its published project record spans gold, lithium, copper, graphite and other mineral systems.

That record includes different kinds of responsibility, not one repeated template. A Guinea gold project is listed at 15,000 t/d with processing EPC scope. A Zimbabwe lithium processing project is listed at 2 million tonnes per year. The design portfolio includes a 1,500 t/d copper processing plant in Pakistan and a 3,000 t/d graphite tailings storage facility in Tanzania. Contracting and operation work is also documented for a gold project in Ghana.

Project lists are useful only when they help you ask sharper questions. Which scopes resemble yours? Where are the technical interfaces? What information is needed before a comparable route can be proposed? Bring those questions.

Bring us the project as it stands.

You may have a geological report, recent test results and a defined throughput. You may have only a mineral, a location and a commercial target. Send what is available.

A useful first brief names the ore, country, target capacity and project stage. Add the decision in front of you: test programme, flowsheet, feasibility work, plant design, equipment package, construction scope, expansion or operations support. If an existing plant is involved, describe the bottleneck in plain terms.

No theatre. Just the project, the evidence and the next question.
